Jesse Voorn is one of those rising stars that the Netherlands offers. His name is buzzing around at the moment and he serves you an excellent mix of tech-house and house, with a touch of progressive. His latest release Rocket, out on Roger Sanchez presents Battle Weapons Vol 2 on Stealth Records, is prove for that. The track gained support from dj’s such as David Guetta, Laidback Luke, David Vendetta, Tom Stephan and many more and ended up high in the charts.
Jesse also had successful releases on labels such as Kingdom Kome Cuts, Fatal Music, Spinnin and Audiodamage. One of his last releases 4 Music 4 Life featured on the latest dance4life album and sold very well worldwide. Jesse’s releases have been supported by none other than David Guetta, Paul van Dyk, Sharam, Kid Massive, Robbie Rivera, Bad Boy Bill, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar, Pete Tong, Fedde le Grand and Andy Cato (Groove Armada), to name a few. His single Nothing You Can Do made it to the tracklist from the Sensation White Belgium album. With one of his earlier hits SeeMe Jesse got himself a top 10 hit, in Bulgaria, and that same track also was chosen by fitness phenomenon Les Mills for their international work-out Body Jam 47. Lately he’s doing lots of remixes, amongst others for Erykah Badu, Kid Massive, Melleefresh vs Deadmau5, George Acosta, D.O.N.S., MC Flipside, Electrixx, Muzikjunki and many more are about to follow.
Jesse also is one of the main ambassadors for Dance4Life, an globaly operating organisation that makes people aware of the problems around aids and hiv. “For me it is very important to contribute to Dance4Life,” he says. “The thing I like with Dance4Life, is that it’s not limited to just inserting a cheque. Dance4Life knows the youth of today is the future of tomorrow. That’s why it’s good to really involve them. Together we can make this very important difference.”
Besides this Jesse has his own, very successful radioshow: Jesse Voorn Radio, broadcasted right now in several countries and he also makes the dance4life radio show, with exclusives guests and co-hosted with Wessel van Eeden from Dance4Life. Jesse shared the decks with the biggest names out of the scene and could be found on parties in countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Dubai, USA, Bulgaria, Norway, Sweden, Greece, UK, Germany, Belgium, Estonia, WMC in Miami and many more.
